　　We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

　　喬治·華盛頓，第一位美國總統正在高聲宣讀《獨立宣言》，13個殖民地代表共同簽署通過，“獨立、平等、自由”的美國精神烙印在了費城的這片土地上，并以高速彌漫到美國東部的每一座城市，每一個角落。
